Since we had an almost non-existent winter this year, most of us are ready for a fresh look and to get spring started early. Good thing we at Tres Chic feel the same way. Stay Cool But Look Hot

Houston is HOT, HOT, HOT and you can be too.
We’re looking for every way to stay cool in the summer heat. Summer dresses are the loveliest and coolest way to endure the sun. Stick with natural fibers that breathe, like cotton. Remember, if the dress is lined, make sure the lining is also cotton. Any of these are great, 100% cotton options:

Don’t be afraid to show some leg!! Summer is the time to show off your tan and flaunt your stems. You can go short without giving away the goods. Be tasteful, ladies! It even is cute as a bathing suit cover-up to the pool!!

My favorite part of the holiday season is we finally get an excuse to shed our jeans and sneakers look for a little razzle dazzle. I love the beading, feathers, rhinestones and sequins. It brings back fond memories of playing dress up in my mom’s costume closet. That’s right, you read that right. My mom has a walk-in costume closet! If you know her, this comes as no real surprise. Growing up, I figured every house had one. You can still dig deep to find a beehive wig, Jasper High School letter jacket, and a gold lame jumpsuit! Every little girl’s dream. Turns out, I didn’t grow out of it, and holiday fashion has supported my habit. One of the season favorites:
